So, someone sent me the ASIO driver i needed to access Reason, but now REASON says that the soundcard is in use by another application.
How can this be?
Nothing else is running.
I tried both...

I have an XP-30 as well, and OMS does not support the keyboard.

You have to use the JV-1080 keyboard set-up, and manually create the Patch set for OMS...

so yes . . . you need midi in and out cords to work with the midi stuff.

Also . . . OMS doesn't support all triggers/synths.
You can still use the keyboard, but you have to create an OMS system...

my keyboard freezes sometimes when my mouse works fine. Never the two at the same time though.

try it from a fresh reboot.
before starting up LE, raise your memory allocation pretty high, and then,
running nothing else but the file you want to bounce to disk, run the file.

should work....

Does Cubase use freemidi or OMS?

If its freemidi, its probly setup to work.
Digi 001 uses OMS.
Which presently, i heard thru the grapevine, is bought out, and barely running. so don't even try...

Mastering Software output problem.

Just bought T-Rex to master my songs for dubplates.
its great for mastering, but i can only monitor the sound through my computer speakers.

The problem is that the OMS system doesn;t have a config file for the XP-30. I had to use a 1080 as a template before for me to manually type in all the info, and even then, i couldn't access my...

access virus, mpc 2000, Roland xp-30, and MOTU Micro Express MIDI interface.
The OMS software DOESN'T include the xp-30 in the set-up.
I've been using the xp-10...
