the errors seem to occur more frequently when bouncing to another sample rate than the session you are bouncing...convert the sample rate of the session via save session copy in and bounce that new...

hi Roy,
disabling all the services by msconfig did the trick...
although it does some strange things to "properties, device manager and system info..etc."
try bouncing to your system drive...

go to add/remove programs and click remove on pro tools ...and select repair.
it will ask you for the installation cd... this worked for me.
also enable at least one usb port in the bios prior to...

just a guess... i think you could do this by right clicking on the pro tools icon and use the "run as" feature...and give the user administrator privilegies for the program...

i had the same problem when upgrading the 001 to v6.1..
after enabling the usb ports in bios, it worked out fine...

select the whole automated region and use the trimmer tool to adjust the overall volume...
You might want to try the "gain" plugin too... I think it’s only for mono though...

CCash, if i understand your post correctly, try recording in loop mode... this way i was able to command-click on the region and get takes from the pop-up list, without losing the previous take or...

peter, even if the meter hits red and the cd samples sound good to you without distortion or clipping, then theres no need to worry...
using the post fader metering should do the job if you want...

if the L1 is set to dither at 16 bit , you should also bounce to 16 bit...this might be the reason...also if you haven't maxed out your buffer size, just set it higher to use the C4 at the same...

this also happen to me(twice)...when i restart the computer after doing a cleanup or defraging...the audio drive wasn't recognized...
try shutting down and wait awhile before you turn it back...

i've made a session template that might interest some of you...this is for LE 001.
this template allows you to monitor/record/and send seperate monitor mixes while in low latency monitoring mode,...
