For anyone else encountering this I figured out what the issue was. I set the hard drive up on my laptop. When I brought it to my iMac I was put under the 'everyone' category...

That is exactly the problem. Workspace lists all of my HDs as R except the Lacie which it lists as T (transfer)

I'm pretty sure it's OS Journaled format. I'm not sure what I'd do about...

So I bought a new Macbook Pro six weeks ago and it came with Mavericks. I stupidly assumed that I could just re-install PT 10 and all would be good.

Technically I was right as PT10.3.7 works...

Okay so here's where I'm at

I have now found out (through about fifteen different cable combinations) that one of the reasons for my lack of mic signal is because mic 2 input is now dead...
