Glad to hear you are making progress. Unfortunately DVS doesn't really have the ability to adapt to different rates by following another piece of hardware on the Dante network....

It would be worth testing with a new Admin user account on your workstation. As long as you have current licenses for Pro Tools Ultimate and DigiLink you should be good to go.

No. There are Surface functions for closing Spill Zones - L & R, for recalling Layouts - and on 2nd press the Track Layout is closed.

It sounds like a timing issue. I believe you are approaching it in the correct way. The surface function mapped to trigger recalling a 1:1 layout is also used to close the same layout...
