The master fader is set to 0 db but since inserts on the master fader are post-fader it shouldn't make any difference.

If I set the ceiling to, say, -1 db, I can pull the threshold down all the way without punching through the -1 db limit. OTOH I can push up a fader on a track that is input to the limiter and break...

I guess I must be missing something basic. I tried it on a aux track with the same results. Besides, delay is delay. Why would it be different on an audio track than on an aux track?
