I've been trying to research this but have given up. I have a
mac g5 non intel 10.5.8
pt 8.1 HD with 2 cards
and a uad 1 card.
If I swap the process card for an acell card will I notice any...

New problem with Korg K61

Lately when I plug in my k61 usb controller...pro tools freezes or crashes.
Sometimes I can remove the Korg and things go back to normal.

Ok finally got it working this morning!! The first problem was the placement of the D/A card in the 192 [it needs to be in slot #2].
And then it was recognized by PT. Then I plugged the 192 into HD...

Ok I finally found that as well. So I changed the slot that the analog output card was in and now it recognized the 192 and the Lynx as secondary,,but the lynx only has the option of 8 analog outputs...

I was experimenting with higher sample rates and optical adat sync for the lynx did not show up....

Why not? does the lightpipe connection stop...

Got a digi 002r and lynx aurora been working fine all day
now when I press play or record the play and stop button are both flashing at the same time..and when I press 3 to record the MTC lights up...

It's still crashing and unable to detect hardware and screwing up my hard drive..
I'll try replacing the firewire card this weekend,,but I have to suffer through another crashy session tomorrow...
