It goes fine. It's cheap good software and I don't need an ilok for any of my plugins. So simple. I've thought about upgrading but can't see that PT12 is worth...

Yep, I think a second hand pro tools 10 is a good idea. Would be nice not to be tied to the old hardware too!

Tiberius, thanks... I ended up disabling the updates in services, that worked fine. But not an ideal long term solution! If we are at the end of Windows compatibility I guess it's either a dual boot...

Can't launch protools - no RTTI data

Thank you! It was the creators update. I rolled it back to the last build, all fixed. So it is now on Win10 version 1607 (build 14393.1358). Any idea if I can stop the creators update?

Me too. This can't be right! Just to find out, I cloned my system drive and used the clone to update to windows 10. And everything worked. What am I missing?

I'm on pro tools 8.0.5 with 9.0.2.65...
