Re: Disabling "Spindump" and "Tailspind" for 9093 Errors

I'm on a 2012 Macbook Pro with OS 10.14.6. This saved my bacon! When I upgraded the OS, my computer basically became unusable with Pro Tools. After doing the "spindump hokey pokey", it's back to...

Re: Recordings not placed in timeline accurately

The late placement corresponds to the buffer size. I switched to 64 sample buffer and it follows:

What led me to investigate was laying down a quick scratch-bass...

Re: Recordings not placed in timeline accurately

There are no plugins in the session. It sounds like no one else is having this problem?

Re: Recordings not placed in timeline accurately

My buffer is at 1024, and that's the amount that the recordings are late in the timeline. You can see the highlighted selection in the transport.

Every interface reports its buffer latency to...

Recordings not placed in timeline accurately

Pro Tools 2019 is placing recordings late in the timeline. I tested it with a consolidated click sent out and back in again:

Re: -9093 stops are killing me!!!!!

Since you're on a PC, try running latencymon from resplendence:

With no other applications running, it will tell you what services might cause a wait-state...

Re: no side chain delay compensation for HD Native users

Just wanted to add my voice to the complaint. This has been a problem since I sold my HD Accell (PCIx) rig and went native. That was three years ago :(

Re: Error message: could not load imported dll for wrapped binary

I had this happen today, after PT11 running fine for several days - no changes to the rig at all. Running PT11 as administrator seemed to fix the problem.

Re: New Macbook Pro Retina 15 with PT 11HD?

Easiest way to check is to make the CarbonCopy clone of your 10.8.4 partition to an external drive, and take it to the Apple store to see if the Macbook you want to buy will boot from it.

FWIW, I...

Re: Blue Cat MB-7 v2 Multiband Mixer

While hosting Kontakt 5 in PT11, the Kontakt window steals keyboard focus from Pro Tools (MB-7 window is fine).

As a Pro Tools user without very many VST plugins, it sure would be great to be able...

Re: VI's playback latency hell.

Just wanted to concur that midi in PT10 is a bit complicated. I have to shut ADC off when printing midi track parts to audio, or they get placed early in the timeline. Instrument tracks seem to be...

Re: Offline Bounce and Automation

You need to remember that the original poster was bouncing a midi track -> virtual synth, not an audio track. Midi is not the same thing, and behaves differently with respect to ADC. Midi and ADC...

Re: Klanghelm AAX

Hi Dave,

Any progress on what you were working on with PACE in regards to this fee for the signing tool? I was about to cough up the $$ per platform, but was hoping you might have been able to...

Re: Plans for VST Adapter Support in Pro Tools 11

As an Avid development partner, I have never been charged ANYTHING to develop plugins for Pro Tools. I also find their development site to be quite responsive, as opposed to AU & VST development,...

Re: Just Pro Tools HD 11

I believe historically you can not buy or sell an HD license without the hardware (and vice versa) - though people do it all the time on ebay. Why not just buy a used Core card with the HD license,...

Re: Who else doesn't get how different input and output buffers shall work?

Good lord - no! Don't forget to add in the land-patch delay offset for the remote ADR talent. Just thinking about all that makes my stomach hurt.

Re: Regular Macbook Pro vs. Macbook Pro with Retina display

I just bought the non-retina version - 2.6GHz Core Intel i7 - from the "special deals" section of the Apple store. It has one thunderbolt, two usb and one firewire 800 port. I am able to later...

Re: iLok problem after PT 10.3.4 install

Cold boot was done many times during my search for a solution, so that wasn't it in this case. I had however installed the free LittleMicroShift plugin, as well as a plugin I'm beta testing just...

Re: iLok problem after PT 10.3.4 install

Nothing strange like that. I did notice that after de-installing all Pace software, and then re-installing Pro Tools, the Pace folders in the Library/App' Support reappeared. I guess Pro Tools...

Re: iLok problem after PT 10.3.4 install

Well, I completely de-installed all Pace stuff on this computer, then re-installed Pro Tools, and it works. So it seems that Pro Tools can communicate with the iLok somehow. I'm not super up on all...

Re: iLok problem after PT 10.3.4 install

OK, here's what I found - by uninstalling the latest Pace everything, and uninstalling Pro Tools 10.3.4, I then did a clean PT install using only the Pace installs that come with the ProTools...

Re: iLok problem after PT 10.3.4 install

Thanks Chris, unfortunately non of those things helped.

Since we know it's not a physical iLok problem (see above - I even moved the licenses to another iLok with the same results), I have to...
