Hi Everyone,

For some unknown reason S/PDIF communication with my Apogee Rosetta 200 has ceased to exist ... everything was fine , no updating and then nothing .... at first the light for sync...

iMac RTAS Processor mangement

Just installed PT8 ! What a difference in appearance alone .... it's going to take me a while to get used to this. I guess I'm in the minority but I really liked the way pro tools used to look ......

Re: Internal vs. external clock (Digi002 and Apogee Rosetta)?

Well once you start using multiple digital sources they need a "Master Clock" .. what is the TC verb clocked to ? This could be part of the issue. You can tell if the apogee is locked by the lights...

Re: Internal vs. external clock (Digi002 and Apogee Rosetta)?

Something is fishy. I use a 002R with my Rosetta 200 and it works just fine. Yes you want to use the Apogee to clock the system ... it's a much better clock compared to the 002.

Does the...

Re: Protools 8 and 002

UNTRUE ...

It's already been discussed and I remember a Moderator from Digi chiming in on that.

The 002 and 003 are very similar products .... ... but most of the updates are hardware based...

Re: MacBook running 10.4.11 and Pro Tools 7.4 problem

Yes ... nothing too big but I have used other apps. I did upgrade to Quicktime Pro .... I've heard that may be the culprit ?

Re: Can this be done ?? (Locking two LE systems together)

I think there is some misunderstanding. I'm not trying to record anything ... it is simply for playback. There are two systems which will be connected to two different power sources .... I just need...

Re: Can this be done ?? (Locking two LE systems together)

Hi Everyone ,

I'm basically bumping this topic as I'm not sure I have a answer yet. I've been told it can be done .... once again to be clear, this is what I want to do.

Have two 003R's...

Re: Can this be done ?? (Locking two LE systems together)

Yeah , I thought the slave would stop as well. I don't really need them to be "sample locked" since it's not for tracking ... maybe there is a way for both of them to just "start" together .... that...

Re: Can this be done ?? (Locking two LE systems together)

Thanks once again for the reply. I still have a question ... the reason for locking two systems together would be to have a backup available "on the fly" ... so in the way you have described it one...
