003R S/PDIF issues with Rosetta 200
Hi Everyone,
For some unknown reason S/PDIF communication with my Apogee Rosetta 200 has ceased to exist ... everything was fine , no updating and then nothing .... at first the light for sync...

Just installed PT8 ! What a difference in appearance alone .... it's going to take me a while to get used to this. I guess I'm in the minority but I really liked the way pro tools used to look ......

Re: Internal vs. external clock (Digi002 and Apogee Rosetta)?
Well once you start using multiple digital sources they need a "Master Clock" .. what is the TC verb clocked to ? This could be part of the issue. You can tell if the apogee is locked by the lights...

Re: Internal vs. external clock (Digi002 and Apogee Rosetta)?
Something is fishy. I use a 002R with my Rosetta 200 and it works just fine. Yes you want to use the Apogee to clock the system ... it's a much better clock compared to the 002.
Does the...

Yes ... nothing too big but I have used other apps. I did upgrade to Quicktime Pro .... I've heard that may be the culprit ?
Thanks once again for everyone's help ..... MUCH APPRECIATED !

Re: Can this be done ?? (Locking two LE systems together)
Yeah , I thought the slave would stop as well. I don't really need them to be "sample locked" since it's not for tracking ... maybe there is a way for both of them to just "start" together .... that...
