Maybe because you can get low latency monitoring on PTMP ' by muting the record track and turning up the direct signal on the m-audio hardeware' it seems they all have that option so its pretty much...

Well pt le never had a lower buffer setting than that anyway at least until the 002 ' and i just got rid of mine for a ozonic wich is a good unit for the $ also the 002 wouldn't work worth s**t on...

I have a dual 1.8 g5 with 768 ram used with a 002r and i am able to run at least 12 heavy poyphony trks in sampletank' so this leads me to think its not a ram issue ik multimedias samples are not...

Only pro tools 7 is qualified for over osx 10.3.6 and you must use a 002 ! if you want to use your 001 downgrade to 0sx 10.3.4 and your troubles will go away " hint ! read compatabilities" there...

mine is also very clean i just find the 002r's output much lower in comparison to the 001's.

Well i fixed it! first my buffer setting never moves from 128 samples so latency was not the issue" however i went into the midi inputs and disabled pro tools inputs 1'2'3'4 and just kept the input...

the setup is simple" one sampletank module and a midi keyboard with no internal module"
midi thru is on so i can hear the trigger and the midi track is record armed for monitoring.

it seems when i am inputing midi notes on my keyboard with "enable quantize"engaged i will get ghost notes and artifacts making it impossible to use' anybody else?

i use pro tools/ digital performer and logic and they all work with the digi core driver...

it is limited to 6 notes in demo mode you have to buy and register it to get 128 notes.
