MMC

If I use MMC can I link 2 programs like PTLE and Sonar on the same computer? Basically I want to sequence MIDI with Sonar and use PTLE for audio.
Or does there have to be a physical MIDI connection?

Is there any previous posts, or cases of why MIDI keeps locking up with PTLE?
I use a Korg MS2000R and when laying down MIDI tracks PTLE will freeze up and I have to end task and restart my pc....

Yeah I know. I just thought there's a way to mark the ending somewhere. There has to be otherwise how would PTLE know how long the song was when it came time to bounce.

I was using Sonar prior to switching to PTLE as well. It was kinda weird at first, but you get used to it. The only thing I can't say is better in PTLE is midi. It's okay but Sonar is much easier...

Does your mixer have SPDIF outputs?
Even if so, PTLE only have 2 SPDIF inputs. So that doesn't help you much.

How much can you customize as far as the display goes in PT? Like the colors of the edit winows, colors of waveforms and such. I'm not in front of my studio pc right now and was just curious.
