After many attempts, I deleted the previous download files, re-downloaded, uninstalled the latest version, re-booted, re-installed, re-booted all this without any virus software or firewall running. ...

I had problems with the install. Called them, which resulted in great customer service. Long story short, I did not have usable zip-file extractor software. Install issue was solved immediately.
