Yeah working of a separate internal Audio drive.

Okay guys thanks - I sent the log to Avid and they've sent me some thing to try including making a new Admin user. Hopefully this helps.

I found a DLOG in Library ---> Avid from around the time I think my latest crash was. I don't appear to have any apps that open it though. Could this provide inside into the problem?

Hmm. Didn't think about just deleting databases. Does this mean I keep all the extra stuff? Will try that next time!

I have WIFI turned off.

It's hard to tie down the cause of the crashes...

Yes I have that PT Prefs app which is cool and does save the main preferences which is very handy - but then you've all the other stuff to redo too such as Hardware, I/O,...

I think it's great that is switches to it in preview as you have say 6 atmos tracks. . .you just set them to the level you wish, pan them accordingly. . .without them going back to their default...

Thanks for your suggestion but it's getting results from other folders inside the same internal drive - and those folders are not in the 'Do Not Search' box in Spotlight settings.

Yes but remember don't go too far as surely you're putting massive strain on your hard drive reading that amount of data to play the video. You do have a separate video drive don't you?
