Thanks. :) I knew XP would work with Quads but i didn't know if PT and XP OS was optimized to fully utilize a Quad chip config compared to let's say a Core2 thats in the current Imac. I'm considering...

In XP (32bit)...... does PT7.4 utilize the full Quad or 8core chips (multi-thread or singlethread)? I know there is a limitation with Ram on XP and i know Vista will utilize the all the chips.
