Would depend on your budget to some degree. 4 core...6 core etc. Then work it out from there. There is not one specific build only.

What are your needs. Most people can do a quad core. if your doing video with effects crunching on the same computer then you want the max processing you can afford.

Has anyone used a PNY Quadro 2000 1GBin their build with success? This would make a great video editing card but it also needs to get along with my DAW. Any conflicts?

Is the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 a suitable MB or is there better proven ones. I like the crossfire 3 so I can run 3 screens eventually.

What is the biggest hard drive you would use as the main. Is a 500gig okay?
Also has anyone experience with hot swapable main drives?
