My Pro Tools software is installed on my C: drive with the OS. I read somewhere that it's best to install ProTools in a drive of its own...

I've been using PT10 for a couple of months and while it has not been particularly stable, I have managed to nurse it through to mix stage of a multi-track project.

I agree with the last post, pro tools is the shonkiest piece of software I have ever loaded. It's complete crap in my view. I get the same issue and I'd love to know how to fix it.
