Wow, Cubase has a new feature now, AAF support. PT has this since years.

This comparison is so senseless and childish. Get Cubase if you think it‘s better for you!

I think they are working or have to work on FX for the AKAI MPC software. All their FX plugins are now available in MPC.

sometimes i work on consoles of a german broadcast console manufacturer and they also managed to have more channels with the same amount of DSP cards. No new hardware, just software.

Maybe Avid hasn’t shown everything new at NAMM because they’re not sure if it’s ready and stable until next release.
Let‘s wait and see when it’s out.

Nearly the whole plugins got just add-ons when buying inMusic hardware (Akai, M-Audio...).
If i remember correctly someone from AiR said on Twitter that there is something new in the pipeline. But...

to be clear. the Massey update only took a few seconds here. Maybe you have not recognised it. The update fixed GUI problems in Mojave.

I got it working with a complete reinstall of the sound library! Then re-scan in Structure.
And if there are still missing files then use the „Spotlight“ function in Structure.

did you try to add the CC32 as new automation lane into the track?

to do this go to the edit window and select the track menu (where you can change between blocks/clips/notes/velocity/... - views....

hmmm, works here what you want to do.
look at the MIDI input filter if there's something disabled that needs to be recorded -> under Setup/MIDI/

1. Pro Tools freezes only the clips and keeps the gaps between the MIDI clips (depending on the reverb tail or delay used, then the freezed clip is longer).

should be no problem. in every AiR plugin with a library you can find a preferences symbol (a wrench or something). There you can set the new location.

the good old Digidesign Command|8 can do this. Great Pro Tools mode and MIDI CC mode. With a push of a button you can toggle between them.
