Ok, just tested your theory. I wrote some automation further downstream with a trim up about 2 db. I have a bunch of unmoved points in between.

It happens in all automation modes.

I neglected to mention...it's only when I put points in by themselves. I haven't actually changed the automation line. Just put the points on the line.

I think the point here is that the software is called "PRO" tools. Inferring that it's used by professionals. ...

I was mixing some A Cappella yesterday when I noticed the weirdest issue that if turns out to be persistent is a MAJOR PT problem.

I started moving the volume up and down on the ProControl fader...
