Anyone know if there are any books covering 7.0 coming out anytime soon or would it be best to learn from an older book first? I've had Pro Tools for less than two months so it wouldn't really make...

I didn't really have a chance to play with anything yet, but I can definitely notice the loading time and new sessions loading a lot faster.

For what it's worth, I have been running a Asus A8N (nForce4 chipset) with a 3700+ San Diego processor and have not encountered any problems yet.

Good look on the proper download. Is the installer that I just downloaded the same as the one from yesterday? This new one is named ptmp70.zip while the one from yesterday was...

M-Audio's site is probably not ready for everyone downloading the update. It should probably clear after a few days but until then the speeds are going to be slow.

Edit: I noticed that the Mac drives for the Firewire 410 (I'm running Windows XP with this) got updated. Does that mean that an update is not required for XP...
