Problem solved.

I deleted Avid cookies in Safari and all is well now.

I don't have German as a language setting anywhere on my system, I don't speak German. I have English as the first choice...

Its possible that (Ctrl+ =) doesn't respond because you are still in comment edit mode. The cursor still flashing in the comment field. Hit the ENTER or RETURN key.

Yes. I haven't used the app in a few years but it should work. Rogue Amoeba also have Loopback which has extensive audio routing between apps.

On Avid Link I have Pro Compressor and Pro Limiter as 2018.1 installed √ Current and Smack and Space as No update.
