Im sorry I didn't mean motorized faders but was actually trying to get protools to respond by moving the faders up and down when i did it on the device.

OK This is soo damn weird.

I cant play any of the audio files in any audio programs and when I try to zip them up... they turn into small ass files, not the real thing so something is terribly...

No i used to record to an external or another internal but that would give me hickups sometimes and i stopped and started doing all recording to the main os drive.... Unless you know something, there...

I save my sessions to the main root drive, and once done, and durring backups I put them on external, I always work from my fastest hard drive which always should be your operating systems hard...

I didn't get very very far in it, I do have the folder with the 5 backups of last whatever that I do when I backup and i do have a full backup of everything on external, but its just any project made...

No wait, all recorded in PC, lets take the mac out the picture for a second.. Things I made on PC Protools 7.4 wont open in PC Protools 8.0... And I know I always make sure I check that compatibility...
