Re: Triggering drumsounds from Falcon by external drumkit

Falcon receives the midinotes when I hit a drumpad. Also, when I use a keyboard, I do can monitor the drumsounds instantly provided the corresponding miditrackl is record-enabled.

Re: Triggering drumsounds from Falcon by external drumkit

Nah! V-curve and such are all described in the manual, no need for anybody here to elaborate on this. I'm hanging in a vacuum :confused::confused:

Re: Triggering drumsounds from Falcon by external drumkit

So far no replies. Need I be more specific?

I noticed some drumsound does come out, occasionally, like hitting the basskick 20 times and 1 time a sound comes. When I record my efforts, all notes...

Re: Triggering drumsounds from Falcon by external drumkit

I can try using another VI like Boom for the drumsounds to see if that works, but I suspect I will have to remap all triggernotes to comply to the VI's assignment path.

Triggering drumsounds from Falcon by external drumkit

Hi all.

This is something I'm struggling with. My Alesis DM5 sends the triggered signals as midi into my little Mac. I see the meter lighting up as I strike a pad. The notes defined in the DM5...

Clear unused audiofiles not available?

Hi all. Long time no see.

This is wierd; I record a couple of takes from my guitar and select the best one. The rest I wanna throw off my disk, but I see no option for that in PT 12.7.1. Anyone...

Re: What buffersize for this session?

Hmmmm I created a session at 48 KHz, 24 bit and set the buffer to 64. Tried to do a testrecording with 5 tracks record enabled and got the CPU overload plus a recommendation to increase the...

Re: Switching from WIN to MAC: Planned Setup

You won't regret the MBP in anyways. In my experience it smokes Windows machines. Done with those.

While we're at it, my MBP 2016 has only 256 Gb internal SSD, can I have it upgraded with a 500 Gb...

Re: What buffersize for this session?

Ok 96KHz might be a bit exaggerated, I'll go for 48. Thought I might as well go for the extra quality but it puts a strain on the computer. So now I'll need a buffer of 64.
During tracking I have no...

Re: What buffersize for this session?

What do you mean by simple tracking of instruments? I have only these five audiotracks. Maybe during mixing I add some EQ's and comps, maybe one reverb plugin.

Do I understand correctly that...

Re: Eagles Still Touring

Working for the machine wears you out. You only do that to retire on your 55th. Imagine the stress, the obligations etc etc. You don't want that on your 70th. Sucks your energy. And on that age,...

Re: Moving clips vertically

You can select the clip and then enter CNT-c to copy and then enter CNT-v (both Windows language, in Mac it differs) to paste on another track but you will still have to use your mouse. Don't think...

Re: Avid Loyalty Rewards for PT 12 Users?

Found the Tracktion files and the Pro Sound FX bundle on my Avid account page. That's all. Considering I'm using only Pro Tools 12.7.1 (not HD) and my annual upgrade plan has already expired I think...

Re: Is this dangerous for my guitars?

Two electric guitars and one acoustic guitar. The electric ones are quite solid. Most of you guys seem to warn for extreme drought, so I think a teeny weeny bit of humidity may be not all too bad :-)
