Thanks for jumping in ...

I assumed that the USB was being seen as a MIDI I/O as well; it does transmit MIDI to and from the computer ...

I Am using the Rack as the only MIDI I/O for the Mac. ...

Ya ... it seems odd to have a problem with Editor when
the Rack is talking to both Logic and ProTools just fine ...

It's hard to see on the Screen Shot I uploaded;
but the MIDI Studio app shows...

1) Yes, I did re-installed the editor.
I even re-download it ... No Joy
also re-download and re-installed the drivers.

Does the Editor create any files in the...

Just downloaded the Editor ... and when I try and run it I get ...
"Error Initializing Eleven Rack MIDI Engine"

I've only had it about a week and both audio and midi have been working...

Plugins: Path or Un-Compatible?

The next hurdle in my evaluation of ProTools 11:
Plugins:
Alloy 2
Slate Virtual Channel
Melodyne
Superior Drummer
Play

They all showed up and ran fine in PT10
But in PT11 I'm getting ...

I'm trying to get the demo of PT11
to run natively on a Mac Pro.

But ... On boot up the program gives me the following message:

Playlist ... Yes, that's what I used.

It works but:
Imagine if you didn't have to solo or insert.
If all you had to do was highlight the part on any one of the takes
and it would instantly...
