TM (since High Sierra) creates snapshots on APFS drives along with copying to backup drive. I do not have TM enabled so no TM snapshots are created. CCC also creates snapshots if enabled. Other apps...

Apple Application Support is installed with iTunes. You can selectively uninstall any parts of iTunes and the Apple stuff you don't want after the install.

On the Mac, some Avid PT logs also show up in the Console under ~/Library/Logs and can be deleted from there.

Just a heads up . . . CCleaner has a Mac version which is not near as thorough as the Windows version, but still does some cleaning. One thing to look out for is if you have CCleaner clean the caches...

There could be a couple of reasons for that. Have you run Disk Cleanup (right-click on drive, Properties, Disk Cleanup)? If you select Cleanup System Files you can also eliminate all but the last...

Why dual boot? Just curious. Unless your work apps are particularly demanding and load up a bunch of background processes, I doubt there would be any performance issues.

CCC creates it's own snapshots that need to be handled by CCC. In the app the drives are listed in the lower left hand panel. Click on a drive and it will show you the CCC snapshots in the right hand...
