you can roll two pads at once, and set them to different velocities, volumes, or notes/times. so you can roll two snares in 16th notes, and time one half a note slower and have 32nd note snare roll....

I have googled this and tried a bunch of different guides to setup the mpc2000xl with pro tools, but no matter what I do, it will not trigger drums in pro tools.

Maybe what I am trying to do isn't...

its just really bizzarre... i remember when i first upgraded to 8, i moved them from the unused folder into the plugins folder and they worked fine.

is it possible to have pt 7.4 and 8 installed...

i did a complete uninstall and reinstall. also did a bunch of the stuff i never had to do before reguarding dep, visualization, etc.

i get the same issue. its definately plugin/preferences...
