I upgraded from Diamond to Mercury...I'm not sure why I still have both installed! :-)

Pro Tools Crashes EVERY time I try and open a session

I get the all too familiar error every time I try and open a Pro Tools session. It states that waves5.2.dll is causing the problem and I have NO idea how to fix it.

I have LE 7.3 with Digidesign...

I actually was working off of that tutorial...but it's still not working. What more do I have to do other than plug in the optical cord? If you have one device you don't need an external clock right?...

Okay I've tried every setting and it's still not reading the Mackie. I was under the impression you plug in the Mackie with an optical cord and boom Pro Tools instantly reads it. Is this an incorrect...

Recording multiple tracks simultaneously

I'm new to recording drums so this may be an obvious question, I've recorded everything else but haven't done more than one input recording simultaneously (except a direct guitar and a mic'ed guitar)...
