Re: Noise from outputs

Ok I bought the Radial and it cured the problem, which was s ground loop from the Digi001 to the amp input. There's a switch on the Radial that I can flip and the problem comes right back, which is...

Re: Noise from outputs

so I'm not the only one. I wonder if my computer is somehow not properly grounded but this only becomes apparent this way? I've had no other problems like this, and the computer is an Allenstein.

Re: Noise from outputs

yeah I know what you mean, and thanks for the links. I'd seen the first one a long time ago and couldn't remember the name of it. The Redial won't work I think because there's no XLR output from the...

Re: Noise from outputs

the sound is what you get if you plug a guitar into an amp, but instead of plugging the guitar in, you grab the end of the plug with your fingers. Should a regular guitar cable do the trick or do I...

Re: Noise from outputs

I don't know what you mean by "ground lifting". I don't see that on the amp head (Peavey XXX) - i.e., "ground lifting switch here".

I've tried routing Out7 through an XDI box and into the amp,...

Noise from outputs

I'm using Digi001 with PT 6.1.1 I think, and have just tried to send a signal from within PT through Out 7 to my guitar amp's main input through a guitar cable. The signal does come out of PT fine...

Re: Rename regions

Thanks for the tip. You must have a diff Ref Guide, cuz my page 312 says nothing about this! Anyway, I found an easier way - just double click the region and it gives you an option to rename region...

I'm also using artic silver paste with a heatsink fan and Athlon 64 cpu. My temp is usually 95 degrees F and goes up to 107 sometimes. I read that 130 F is starting to be bad.

Re: Asus k8v optimization & general questions

Yes, I see that it is buried in a section on using IDE drives when I'm not using one. Makes it very easy to miss. Perhaps that one sentence should be moved to the top of the "Using Two Drives"...

Re: Completely demoralized - Blame Game Unresolved

Re: NEW DUC FAQ - 5.3.1 and beyond--- XP tune tip
