Need to stop automation from following playlist.

Does anyone know how to keep the automation from following playlists? I want to be able to A-B my automation moves without creating new tracks. Separate automation for each playlist.

I had tried changing that pref before, but not down to 10 minutes. I tried it again, (to 10 minutes) but it actually seems to happen just as much or maybe even more...

When in the edit window, if you ctrl-click on the buttons in the sends column PT will display only that send on every track, with meters and faders for the send. A very cool feature, but I can't...

It's true that this is not a real world test. It is completely obvious that nobody would ever use this setup in a "real world" situation.

MOBO: Intel VC820
CPU: PIII 1Ghz/133
Ram: 256/PC800 RDRAM

I would recommend not changing your input level once you have it set. If you ride the input and you do multiple takes and want to comp them together later, it will be very difficult to match the...
