Why has the 11.3 install file changed?

The 11.3 installer I downloaded on December 19th is 762.5mb in size.

The 11.3 installer I downloaded on January 11th is 762.6mb in size.

Re: Where the F is 11.2.1 ?!?!?!?!

Re: PT 11.2.2 and higher will break Thunderbolt HDX functionality

Re: PT 11.2.2 and higher will break Thunderbolt HDX functionality

That's right folks, regressing to version 11.1.2 (which isn't even certified for Mavericks) makes everything work like a well-oild machine again, while updating to 11.3.0 (which "has been certified...

PT 11.2.2 and higher will break Thunderbolt HDX functionality

If you are using Thunderbolt HDX on an Mac system running 10.10, the PTHD Software installers for 11.2.2 and 11.3.0 will break your thunderbolt connection and make the HDX card invisible to Pro Tools...

I downloaded Yosemite and installed. After install, and on restart, the machine booted and it informed me that Pro Tools was not compatible and would be moved to an "Incompatible software folder". ...

Re: How do you change your avid account email

yeah that would be an excellent solution, except the system was built two years ago, so, no registration card/number, and no ASC code. So now, what, I have to take his @#$%^@#$ pro tools rig apart...

How do you change your avid account email

My client changed his ISP and lost access to his ISP-based email account. So he asked me to log in and change it for him, since he's not internet savvy.

I log in for him, and what do I find? ...

Re: Random MIDI Notes that last 2-3 measures just appear out of nowhere.

I am playing the parts in with my hands. I don't program, I play an instrument.

I use a Yamaha S-80 which is connected from MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of a Digidesign MIDI IO. There is no other...

Welcome to one of the many bugs in Pro Tools. I have that too. Have you tried to actually play a keyboard part into the DAW and record the MIDI yet?

Manually played MIDI Notes arrive earlier than played.

I am pretty much ready to hurl this HDX system right out the window.

I'm running a 16 track 88.2 session with one virtual instrument (addictive drums). Buffers at 128 (lowest setting allowed by...

Re: PT10HD iLok license transfer locked. Is this even legal?

I've decided to sue Avid in small claims court in the SFV.

I don't believe I can get a judge to force them to open up the assets for moving amongst accounts, but I am going to sue to force them...
