Me and a few others over at Gearslutz are having issues with the latest iMacs and Macbook Pros.

There seems to be one issue related to fusion drives, and another related to playing back audio...

Upgraded to PT9 - Can I sell my 003?

I used my 003 Rack+ serial key to upgrade LE8 to PT9. I no longer need the 003, and I want to get the new Mbox.

If I sell the 003, could it still be used if the buyer already has Pro Tools? I...

I'm thinking about buying the LE8>PT9 crossgrade, but I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to.

I've lost my registration key (and/or the auth key), and my iLok doesn't display any PT licenses,...

Let's say the drummer nailed the chorus, but the verse was a little off, so I want him to be able to hear the last two bars so he can get the transitions right and play a few...

Getting this in LE, no matter if fades are used or not. If I record, save a session and close it, it the message will appear the next time I open the session.

Having this problem in LE on all my new sessions now. Regions look ok, nothing is missing (I hope). Should I be worried?

Digi hardware doesn't work well with other DAWs. If you have a 003, just install LE!

Run the 8.0.4 LE installer, and have the PT8 disk in your computer, that should install the whole shebang, and probably solve the compatability issues.

If you downloaded and installed the Mac version of 8.0.4, then yes. Pro Tools runs best on Mac, and Snow Leopard should work. I use 10.6.2 myself and it works great. I don't think that's the problem....

I'm not sure if I understand you here. Do you get sound from PT when using headphones, or were you just saying that the headphones are working in general (with your mp3 player, etc).

What are you monitoring (listening) with?

Do you get any sound if you use headphones?

Remember that you have to your speakers or headphones to the MBOX, not to the MacBook.

How do I automatically insert a plugin on all tracks at the same time?

I want to use ATA on all tracks, first in the chain. How do I do this without manually adding the plugin on the first insert bar each time?
