Re: HD Native Thndrb not showing up in 12

I do not have a Digilink IO license.. I am learning about it now as I investigate. Frankly there is nothing much to read about it, it's hard to find info on what it is and what it constitutes for...

HD Native Thndrb not showing up in 12

I recently purchased an HD native Thunderbolt off of eBay and can't get the dang thing to show up in 12.6. I have read over others with this issue in 12. But I can't find an answer to why it is...

Re: Waves L3?

If you have the platinum you get the L3 Ultramaximizer free. If you have the Diamond you get the Ultramaximizer and the new Multimaximizer.

Re: Pro Tools 6.4 & Mac OS X 10.3.5: Slow to play

Just so you know, I have been using PT6.4 with 10.3.5 and had no problems.

Re: Setting Sends Simultaneously

You can also just option click to show the sends automation on all tracks then adjust all sends from there.

Re: Waves L3?

I sometimes throw the RenComp on the mix, and it does very well. I would recommend not compressing at all though, just adjust your master fader so you don't clip before you bounce, then bring it...

Re: How do ya\'ll keep track of the good takes?

Playlists is what i meant by virtual tracks, which is exactly what playlists are.

Re: How do ya\'ll keep track of the good takes?

Just use the virtual tracks in pro tools and put a good description of the performance.

Re: Anyone use Maxim regularly?

Hands down the L2, LMB, and LEQ are the best mastering tools out there for anyone with LE. I hate Maxim, it distorts way to easily. Spend the money and get the Waves.

Re: Faster way to bounce?

I hate to break it to you, but the playback you are hearing works nothing like a repro head on a tape machine. The numbers are being crunched and written regardless of whether you are listening to...

Re: Faster way to bounce?

This is a ridiculous answer to this question. A fast BTD option would be a great feature and a major improvement to Pro Tools. Not just LE but the full version as well. I would use it a ton, it...

Re: Why can\'t the 002 be a controller also?

I have to agree with rezn here. If they can do it over USB why can they not do it over firewire?

Why can\'t the 002 be a controller also?

Yo Digi, so I am a little hacked that this Controller 8 can act as a mini controller for any PT system. I have wished the 002 could do this ever since I got it. It would be nice if I was away from...

Re: Snare Problems... compression

I second the sample thing. Although this IS done ALL THE TIME. Most recordings out there have some sample mixed in. I also second the squashing it on one track and blending it with one not...

Re: 1176 vs La2a

I would agree, you can get the best of both worlds with the Distressor. You can get the 1176 sound and the LA2 sound out of it, plus much more. If you really want one of these pieces, the 1176 will...

Re: Share your 002 experience

The 002 rocks. I am so thankful I bought it over the rack. The way it is integrated into pro-tools is much better then any third party motor mix setup (for obvious reasons). You will actually...

Re: Ram or CPU

Ram will add more plugs, but not much. A faster CPU is the way to go if you really want to see an improvement.
