If it were an output knob, I'd be more inclined to accept that. The manual doesn't make this clear enough for me to use as a source in this circumstance. Don't want to just guess at what it might...

I remember the cables all being plugged into the back of the MBox. I admit I've found some issues with how other engineers set a couple of things, but they are DEFINITELY not plugging anything into...

Yeah, I'm already going way above and beyond with this thread, ha ha.

Ok, when I go back in there, I'll make sure that when set to +4 and when using a "1/4 TRS plug, the gain knob is bypassed.

Okay.

I can change the default output, but only if it's in mono. I can make it Out 1, Out 2, or even bus 16. When I create a new track, the output will automatically follow these selections.

Thanks, flommer. Unfortunately that doesn't fix the issue. It does affect the audition paths option, though.

Hello.

Been having a few problems with Pro Tools M-Powered recently.

One of the strange bugs is in the I/O setup. No matter what. I can't reset the "new track default output" to anything...
