I got 3GB ram.

But in a session that has no more than 26 tracks and no plugins etc. shouldn't do that. I can run 130+ track sessions in 44.1 kHz. (I have opened big pre-PT8 session that also...

It happens on every session. Mainly I'm recording to an external FW800 drive. But I also tried using our internal audio drive. It makes no difference.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions drenkrom.

Haven't tried DW yet. Maybe I should try to run it.

As described earlier there can go 5 days without any issues, which makes it very hard to test...

I tried running the Apple hardware test, and no errors where observed.
I also tried running the Digitest. Again everything passed.
I also tried watching if any fans we're dead, but everything runs...

It's air cooled but no fans speeds up or anything & we haven't had any heat issues with it so far.

Haven't tried that. After we saw the freeze 1st time it didn't come back until 5...

C-tone: I think we are talking about 2 different things. You're talking about the audio going to the recorded track, and I'm talking about internally in the autotune plugin that the timing drifts...

I have Autotune Evo on a track and use it in graphical mode. I have set it to use Pro Tools as the timing (= host).
For some reason it keeps shifting a little...

So far I have been running Pro Tools 6.9.1 with an adat bridge hooked up on a 192 i/o. That has been running great without any sync issues at all.

We have now upgraded to Pro Tools 7.3.1cs4...

It turned out that my harddisks was set with jumpers to be master & slave. When I set it to be cable select instead everything ran as usual. No idea...

Have you triedswitching cables? Switch the dsub cable on the 1-8 port with the 9-16 port to check if it's the cable or your interface that is faulty....
