Thanks! It's a great unit. I actually prefer the
Limited options and simplicity of the unit over say the Axe
The only unit I may move to is the kempler.

I would suggest you are looking at this the wrong way. The Ground Control becomes the control of the rig (and fx on/off). Each program on GCP selects the rig, the fx on/off, the expression pedal...

you can pick up one of these for arround $400 from the US via ebay. Better option however is the Liguid Foot Pro (but its $900 us !)

Heres an about face..... Its interesting how the ear / brain perceives sound over time, espeacilly when a modeler is creating tone / environments via mic postioning and reverbs....... I switched back...

Good post and I agree. Is just slightly frustrating that it could be so much more ! In anycase I removed my 11 rack from ebay. I couldn't bring myself to sell it because at the end of the day it does...

Sadly I put my Eleven up on the bay today..... Sorry to say it but the HD500 with the latest firmware blows the 11 (for my needs anyway). I have based this on the cleans - Ac30, Twin, divided by 13...

I should add I am not selling my Eleven (not yet anyway). The HD is another flavour, and handy for throwing in the backpack with a laptop for quick gigs, sessions. End of the day I think the 11...

Well its to late for me. I bought a Line 6 HD 500 yesterday and its great. The Ac30 model is exactly what I am looking for, and the fx are great. Also the unit has a mature os compared to the Eleven....

Actually I have asked Avid if they would allow the loop bypass to be switched between send bypass & return bypass. At least you could then have your external delay / verb with the tails ringing out...
