Ideally this would be a possibility. The problem is that as soon as I select the AAF file to import, pro tools crashes entirely. I can't even get to the window that prompts you to import track data....

That was basically it. I don't need to record. just playback, but the question I was asking was basically how good of sound you get out of the 1/8" jack.
