Re: Accurate monitors for 10\'x10\'x8\' room

For monitors, I do like Tannoys - some may disagree, but in my small room, I do beleive that the coaxial design does to some extent improve imaging - since highs and lows are coming from the same...

Re: Accurate monitors for 10\'x10\'x8\' room

Oh yeah - GREAT ADVICE as far as keeping the volume down. I mix in a VERY small room, and that is of course, a requirement for accuracy in a small room where your mids and lows are going to be so...

Re: Accurate monitors for 10\'x10\'x8\' room

All due respect to mixerboy, but the ASC traps really do cost about $30 a piece to make, and there are other DIY solutions that can be as effective or more effective than the pricey crap. I have...

Re: Accurate monitors for 10\'x10\'x8\' room

Build your own tube traps. All the ASC traps are is a compressed fiberglass pipe sleeve sealed at the top and bottom. You can make them for about $30 apiece if you are so minded. I made a bunch of...

Re: Newbie Question about Hardware Inserts

Don't think you can do that. Are you sure an 888 is the answer? Seems a bit strange to me that you would convert in with Apogee then run that signal thru an 888.
