Ok, so I did a clean install of everything again and all is well. I'm not sure why the 10.3.9 installer didn't update my plugins like normal, but its all good now!

I've checked both! Maybe i'll just do another fresh install of pro tools and see if everything gets back to normal

Well im just stumped then. I still have quite a few old stock plugins, before I did a fresh install on this machine I had all of the updates ones.

Has to be something i'm doing wrong!

I noticed when I did a fresh install I have some older versions of the avid plugins(d-verb, etc.) and i dont have the channel strip plugin.

Where is the 10.3 instrument installer? in my avid...

I'm having the same issue. Downloaded it 3 separate times. Tried 7 zip, winrar, and the stock windows app. Errors which every program.

i figured it out. there was something i wasnt uninstalling. it was called avid effects or something like that. i never noticed it haha.

ok ive totally erased all the avid folders i can find. reinstall it and still no aax plugins in the folder at all.

what am i not doing?!

I recently had to uninstall pro tools 10.1.2 because of how unstable it was. I uninstalled pro tools completely and did a fresh install, back to 10.1. Now my channel strip plugin is gone? Anyone know...

you need to go into settings once you have the plugin open. you can setup your license file and point it to where the library folder is located.

pro tools wont close out`

whenever i try to close pt 10 out it wont close. i have to manually go to the task manager and kill the process. its w7 64 bit.

it never did this with pt8 or 9.

any suggestions?

you shouldnt start up a firewire interface when the computer is on. power on the device when your computer is shut down.

have you updated the driver?
