PT10.2 Hangs & Freezes uponSave, Mt.Lion 10.8.1

PT10.2 hangs on Save, MT 10.8.1

I've tried clearing permissions, uninstall/reinstall and nothing.

Just keep hanging once I hit Save.

Ideas?

I'm dead in the water...:mad:

Sample rate follows session data, so you'll need to change that from the get go when creating the session. I haven't been successful changing sample rate after the fact or know if it can be done.

Audio Dropouts using MR816X

Hi All,

Just checking to see if anyone else on the forum is getting these random audio dropouts. You can actually see the dropouts on the WAV form(GUI)

Slow close down here as well.
Not sure why and I don't have any old plugs that would cause this.
Same happens when there is no session loaded.

I'm using an Mbox3 and I don't recall PT taking...

I've noticed the GUI freezing temporarily every know and again.
When I disabled the Auto Backup, the pauses go away.
Anyone seeing the same thing?

Dropping that code into Google usually get's you right to the fix or a detailed explanation of the problem or reason for the BSOD.
Are you overclocking ram or CPU?

Just an update.
Problems are gone with "missing iLok" popup, since putting the iLok2 in the back of my computer and not in a USB hub.

Make sure you only have 3 cores of your processor reserved for RTAS support.
Even though I can designate 8 cores to RTAS, 3 seems to be the magic number for using UAD2, so you should see a massive...

Yes, latest PACE/iLok drivers

It is in a USB hub, so I'll try directly in the PC and keep my fingers crossed.

Anyone else having repeated issues.

PT10 and iLok issue seem to have escalated since I upgraded.
