I assumed they had different firmwares, just wanted to check if said firmware could be replaced/updated to an s6l firmware. Some insider feedback from avid would be great, as now I have two big paper...

Hi all,

One of my E3 engines is apparently dead, it boots all right and discovers both the s16 and the s3 surface but the engine picture on the devices tab appears greyed out with an exclamation...

This **** drives me nuts. Avid keeps updating the product line and making the investment of the S3L users worthless. If there was little to none market for the S3L now it’s gonna become a useless...

It's a shame, i had great faith in te platform but the consoles are sitting at the warehouse doing no jobs for months, and even worst, they got bad rep now and they're becoming a really tough sell so...
