Yea, but the other way is not so certain. My guess is folder tracks are lost when you save in PT12 and open in PT2020

Mastering and plugins... ugh, well qualified ME may use digital nowadays but the point of Mastering is fresh set of ears that have not tracked and mixed the stuff and best case scenario ME just says...

I think the plugin bundle requires active support plan, or separate rental plan if you do not wish to pay the yearly support fee. If you are still on youre grace period, I would advise to renew.

Yes the interfaces need to connect via DigiLink cable, which means eiher HD cards, HDN, or HDX cards. Even though HDN and HDX have different connector the old boxes are compatible witn adapters,...

Mac Pro 2013 does not have 5.1 output so you need to monitor via your interface. Go to Apple Menu / System Preferences / Sound / Output to choose from what you have.

Kumusta! Welcome to the community

DB25 cable carries analog audio so your Mac will not see the controller at all. Only the analog 5.1 output.

Yes, that is how it is. Need to be matching i/o for Hardware Inserts. That is one of the DSP mixer rules that Avid has chosen to match in Native to avoid confusion.

Disk allocation has nothing to do with track counts. However the original poster has not told which sampling rate the session is running. PT Standard maxes out at 32 tracks if the session is 192kHz....
