Boring Dither Question

Ok, does anyone have any advice on best practice here - I've got 24 bit stereo files I want to burn to cd.....what is best...

bouncing down to 16 bit in protools with dither etc

After a day of using the demo of Bias Peak LE 6, I've found it has some great features (after I got my head around it)......was all set to buy the authorised version but I received error messages...

I'll second the Audio Technica, I think mine is a 3035 and I've used it for all sortsa stuff - they work really well and with the money you save you can buy an ART valve mic pre.

...any other suggestions.....I am trying the demo version of Bias Peak LE 6 and find it incredibly complex to use. Damn - Jam 6 was so easy to use - why isn't there Jam 10!:p

I used the tapehead and the Compressor in some recent mixes....they were great, so easy to use as well. I found Tapehead was cool for adding a bit of grit to some vocals on some dirty rock'n'roll...

Hey filosofem, is there really a noticeable efficiency gain between 7 and 7.3? I'm using a PPC laptop and am keen to upgrade if this is the case..... Also I assume if you don't use a right click...
