i have the exact same problem and the interlok update does nothing , still get the same error message , going back to 8.0 as it works fine, mabey interlok and avid will get off their ass and fix this...

i got mine xmas day which was a nice touch and i am up and running strong .. just make sure you extract the zip file and then execute the set up or you will have some issues :-)

iam am still waiting . talked with coustomer support and they are trying to keep up with all the orders . may take a bit of time ..
