I get exactly the same behaviour. It's plugged in fine but nothing on the Mac can see it (System Preferences, DAWs etc). Every other peripheral using the hubs I use work fine with no issue...

Well, after just ignoring the obnoxious popup advising to update a plug-in that'd already been updated I checked the App Manager recently and it says "no update" now.

So... problem fixed I guess? ...

What sort of connectivity issues were you getting?

Mine seems to relate to having the Duet plugged into a USB hub. If I directly connect to the Macbook it seems to work fine.

I haven't chanced...

That's different to what Apogee told me when I reachout to them... they maintained they're still two separate skus and that using any Apogee software with them wasn't advisable.

Thanks for the response.

Apogee created a standalone sku to Avid that would work on both PC and Mac, and delegated all support back to Avid for the unit. Using anything from Apogee for this isn't...

Hi,

By Internal settings I mean it doesn't show Pro Tools Duet in the System Preferences -> Sound menu at all until I powercycle the unit. Only the Internal speakers / microphone etc are visible...

Hi,

For some reason this has only really happened since I updated to Sierra.

It'll be working fine, I'll switch off my Mac, and randomly when turning it back on the unit is on but the Mac can't...
