we don't use analogue in the intonato except the AD for the output of a Bluray/VOD box just for client fun so I can not comment of the quality of the convertors, sound okay, no one has commented...

that is a quote from the Netflix spec 7.2 I believe. Netflix actually require a maximum true peak of -2dbtp. There wording is odd and misleading :)

A lot of channels ask for this now, its not ideal but you have to go with it :(
The best answer I got was from a channel is that it allows them to use the same file for VOD and broadcast.
