When "Ignore errors" checkbox is checked, PT behaves similar to most of the DAW's default behavior (which is to not report/catch some of the streaming errors). Hence my question....

"Input buffer" still determines how frequently audio goes in and out of the device. So it has some say in the overall performance. May be there is something going on with Eleven LE plugin and some...

6104 indicates that the device is reporting a buffer under run on the USB. I can't say why though.

Does things change in anyway if you check or uncheck "Ignore Errors" check box in the playback...

If I understand your track setup correctly, you are still playing live MIDI data? If that is the case, most of the plugins are still going to be operating on the input buffer and hence may not see...

Another way to look at this : "live monitoring path" vs "disk track path".

If your signal topology falls in the first case, it has to be in a lower latency path and hence follow the hardware...

FWIW, dynamic processing is disabled on VI's. So, if you turn it off in the playback engine dialog, you don't see this issue anymore?

Sorry for not updating this thread sooner.

The bug has been fixed and is being tested. Unfortunately I cannot tell when the update will be released.

Thanks. The crash log matches a reproducible case we have. So we will keep investigating. (FWIW, this is a tricky one and happens way deep inside the new engine, far away from any direct device level...

The bug is in the queue and is being looked at. It may not progress at the speed you want it to, but it will get resolved as soon as it can.

Anyway, can you guys seeing the crash send me a trace...

Even though seeing conspiracy theories in everything is a nice thought experiment for the mind, resurrecting 003 with PT 11 was a case of "over delivery" by an overzealous team.

HDN has only 64 streams, but even a single HDX card has 256 streams. OS has trouble handling that much data at 32 samples buffer size.

6117 error code is returned when "Device is not present". Something during init sequence probably indicated that device is not present and that error got propagated up. Let me see if somebody can...

Not necessarily. As mentioned earlier, if Roland can loan us a hardware I am sure we can fix it if it is related to AAE (or at least tell them why PT is crashing etc)

Do you know who he is in touch with? These are the kind of issues where we need help from the device manufacturer to make any kind of progress.

As Ted indicated one part of the engine (the one which handles anything that are in low latency mode) operates on device buffer size. To answer your question, yes this part of engine is still locked...
