in my case problem was in non-English characters in video folder name. Try to copy your video directly to desktop and import

I did some tests and found that problem is with folder permissions. Video files opens from desktop, but didn't opens from same drive folders

The only thing you can do is roll back to the 8.0.3. It's a really stable version without any bugs.

ok. Lets go this way. I try to give you maximum info, but i really hope that this issue will be fixed as soon as possible.

System worked excellent with LE 8.0.3. Problem appeared after installing...

when we can expect a new fixed installer? The main trouble is that current installer kills ASIO and WDM drivers, then reboot system and installation quit with error. So there's no audio drivers and...

It seems that guys at Digi already know about this bug. But it appears not only in Chinese and Japanese versions of WinXP. I have the same trouble in english version.

PTLE8 crashing when playing or addind effects

.. i have no idea what's the reason. It happens 2-3 times a day in any moment when working with session. Just wery short BSOD and reboot :(
