I just dragged 30 files from Finder into the Edit window. It took 5 seconds.

Fresh install of 9.0.5 over 9.0.3 on 10.6.8.

Is Timemachine running? Maybe some other background task(s) in...

Profire (and other devices) need new drivers for Lion.

ProFire 610 and 2626 require v2.3.2

In 9.0.2 there was a change to keep files around that were from REC takes undo for backup/autosaved sessions. Meaning, previously if you undid a record pass, and an autosave occurred, that autosaved...

you could consider MY word as "from Avid". I personally have seen the issue and submitted a failing iLok and report to folks at Pace.

FWIW, I recently sent PACE an iLok2 that stopped being recognized and the LED flashed continuously - no matter what USB port or computer. The lok had roughly 60 or so auths on it...good news is that...

Good luck man...curious that the "VST...." version was listed in the dlog you sent me. Shouldn't be the RTAS version?

We are investigating this problem. Realize corrupt WAV file headers are not tied to just Pro Tools. Audio and video apps across the board are associated with this problem. WAV files are susceptible...

Looks like BFD2 is the culprit. Not sure what I (or Avid) can do at this stage as we don't have acess to that code. In low memory scenarios, a bad address call or memory leak leaves little safety...

I reported a list of outdated plug-ins, Steve, and am still narrowing in on precise issue here - though my bet is a combo of a bad memory address call by an outdated plug-in being made while overall...

You mention jumping from 7.4 to 9.0.2 on a new machine. It is my understanding...

FWIW - I just encountered an iLok2 total failure. The LED started flashing. No auths (or even the iLok) are recognized.

Unbelievable! For 10 years I've used up to 14 iLoks (original version) and...
