Has anyone tested PT 6.4 on a PIII computer?

I know that in the compatibility documents digidesign has said that "Pentium III (is) not tested or recommended". So, if it's not tested, it may work...

I agree with where, if you only want the processed signal for reference while recording, you can place the plugins on the audio track. The use of plugins in an aux track will only give you an audio...

The same problem here. And have the same problem with LA-3A (new version of LA-2A). I will try to uninstall and install them again.

About the plugins, they are great. Specially SansAmp.

I'm using PT 6.1.1 under WIN XP PRO, and yes, using rewire/reason on the sessions.

And Neatguys,

I have used the two ways, automating with the "write" mode and pushing the mute...

I installed PT 6.1 and the upgrade to 6.1.1 something like 2 weeks ago, and it's running strong and smooth, without BTD problems like I heard from others. And I'm running it in a PIII...

This is the way I go:

Bass -> bass amp, and the preamp out of your amp to input (preamp) 1 or 2 of your 001.

I tried, going direct (bass-001 preamps), miked amp (with not many mic/amp choices)...

A light touch of the 1176 have done good things on my acoustic guitar tracks. Maybe it's the fast attack of this compressor. So much faster than the LA-2A.

Pro Tools 5.3.1 or + do it on XP.
