-9073 DAE ERROR

I am getting a -9073 "too slow or fragmented" error. Why is this? What do I have to do to fix this problem?

EUREEKA!!! IT WORKED!!!!

I removed a 256mb stick of ram (for a total of 512mb) and now im up and running with no problems.

Why is this?? I thought more ram was better? It seems like anything...

Only 1 Overhead Mic???

I have an akg c4000b. I cant afford a second one just yet. Is it posssible to just center it over the drum kit??? What do you guys think???
