We've now tried the same test session (see above) using an HDX card instead of the HD Native card and surprise, surprise it works.
Looks like we have to upgrade our recording suites to HDX in order...

I wouldn't say this is only a HD issue, otherwise everyone using HD would moan.

Thanks John for your feedback.
Yes, HD Native with the "old" 192 interfaces.
Delay compensation was turned off for the tests.
But we've also tried it with delay compensation on.
